Social Media Management
SOCIAL MEDIA SERVICE
Social media management for therapists
Millions of Americans use social media, giving you access to a large audience of potential clients to promote your therapy practice. In addition to advertising your services, you can use social media to build relationships with existing clients and provide educational resources about mental health.
With our social media management service, we help therapists create profiles across Facebook, Instagram, and other popular social platforms. We keep these pages active with regular posts related to their practice and mental health specialty.

How many social media posts do you get with TherapySites’ social media management service?
TherapySites has two levels to its social media management service. The level you choose determines how many social media posts you get per week. Social Media Premium comes with two Facebook posts and two Instagram posts per week. Social Media Elite increases that number to three weekly posts per platform and adds three weekly posts for Twitter/X.
Does TherapySites create all of my posts with its social media management service?
TherapySites creates two or three weekly posts per platform depending on the social media management level you choose. However, you also get access to a social media calendar where you can add your own posts. You can repurpose the therapy-related content and graphics from our resource library in your posts or write new posts from scratch.
What are some content ideas for therapist social media pages?
Here are some content ideas for your therapy practice’s social media pages:
• Educational videos: Create videos explaining common services, conditions, and treatments in your area of focus.
• Client testimonials: Share testimonial videos or written reviews from clients (with their permission).
• Seasonal mental health tips: Tie your content to the time of year (e.g., tips on handling the stress of the holiday season).
• Live Q&A sessions: Engage with your audience in real time by addressing questions and concerns from clients.
TherapySites’ social media management service can help you post this type of content on your pages.
What is the difference between social media posts and ads?
Social media posts get published on your page. They’re free to create, and they appear in the feeds of your followers. Their purpose is to engage and educate your audience on topics related to your therapy practice. On the other hand, social media ads are paid promotions that market your therapy services. Unlike regular posts, ads can appear in the feeds of users who don’t follow your page.
TherapySites’ social media management service focuses on social media posts. For social media ads, we have a separate service for Facebook Advertising.
What social media platforms should therapy practices use?
Which social media platform(s) you use for your therapy practice should depend on who the target audience is for your services and what type of content you like to create. Here are some of the most popular social media platforms and their use cases:
• Facebook: If you have an older target audience and like to create content that has a mix of text and imagery
• Instagram: If you have a younger target audience and like to create content with images and videos
• YouTube: If you want to create long-form videos educating your audience about topics that relate to your therapy specialty
• TikTok: If you have a younger target audience and like to create short-form video content
TherapySites’ social media management service specializes in creating content on Facebook and Instagram. Contact us to learn more about our service if those platforms align with your goals.
